Get Ready to Ride (or Walk!) at the Westmoreland Heritage Trail Festival & Poker Run!
Get your bikes (or walking shoes) ready for a fun event supporting the Westmoreland Heritage Trail! The 5th Annual Festival and 3rd Annual Poker Run is happening on Saturday, June 6th, 2026.
The day kicks off with registration at 9:00 AM and a special “Blessing of the Bikes” at 9:30 AM. The Poker Run events start at 10:00 AM and run until 11:30 AM, with awards and raffles at noon. Food vendors will be available until 2:00 PM.
What’s a Poker Run?
It’s not a race, so all paces are welcome! Participants will travel along the Westmoreland Heritage Trail, stopping at 5 checkpoints to pick up a playing card at each stop. By the end, you’ll have a full poker hand. The best poker hands win prizes! You can choose to participate in an 8-mile bicycle ride or a 4-mile walk/jog (round trip), or adjust the distance to your liking.
More Than Just the Run
The event, held at the BY Park in Trafford, PA, also features a festival with basket raffles, music, food vendors, and even new membership discounts for the Westmoreland Heritage Trail. You’re encouraged to tag your pictures on social media.
Support the Trail
The Westmoreland Heritage Trail connects several communities, and proceeds from the event go directly towards trail maintenance and development.
Registration Details
Pre-registration for the Poker Run is $25, or you can register on the day of the event for $30. All participants get a 2026 Poker Run T-shirt. There’s also a special new membership offer. You can register online or by mail.
Don’t forget to download and sign the release form and bring it with you the day of the event!
